How do we know the needs of support businesses? Because we’re a small and growing business ourselves. I’m Corey Fruitman, founder and owner. I began Instant Housecall in 2007 after a professional career in technology, working for companies of all sizes.

I’ve always had a passion for small businesses and helping them succeed. Part of the driver behind the Instant Housecall remote support software was an experience working in Toronto in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing services department at George Brown College. A student wanted to start a computer repair business and was worried about communicating with clients.

I created a remote app and chat program to help. That blossomed into the full-featured remote support platform you see today, which still focuses on facilitating great customer communication.

I don’t know of any other Remote Support Apps that have that ICON sitting unobtrusively on a Clients Desktop that can give them any more Instant satisfaction that IHC. I’m usually right here when the occasional Notice pops up, I Click Accept and in less then 30 seconds, with No More Hassle for the Client, I’m on their computer to take a look at their issue and either take care of it right then, or reschedule. Either Way, the Client can’t say enough about how “taken care of” that makes them feel. I get that kind of acknowledgement all the time.
